This event is sure to engage all your senses and leave you with unforgettable memories for a lifetime. We ensure you will have an ”Extraordinary”experience while enjoying
the Spring ambiance unique to Japan.
Location: Fujiten Snow Resort (map)
In April 2022, amongst the backdrop of a snow-covered Mt. Fuji wrapped in the splendor of early Spring landscape, 4 fireworks specialists, masters of their craft in both name and talent, pulled out all the stops to provide an awe-inspiring fireworks event that can only be thought of as ‘world-class’. The venue, ‘Fujiten Resort’ shares space with the iconic mountain and served as the perfect location for the event. This year, the 4 specialists: Beniya Aoki Fireworks, Isogai Fireworks, Kikuya Obata Fireworks, and Saiki Fireworks will test the limits of their talents to create a spectacular ‘world-class’ fireworks experience that has brought many spectators to tears with its beauty. Conveying the beauty of something as magical as fireworks is the key to a great event. As such our goal is to create an event that conveys the sight and sound of exciting fireworks, while enveloping you in the natural spring landscape of Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms, leaving you with memories that will remain with you for years to come. An experience unlike any other that contains both the best in scenery and fireworks, this is the meaning of “The Zekkei Fireworks”.
The grandeur of Japan’s world-famous peak, Mt. Fuji, is something that has been enshrined in the hearts of many Japanese people. On April 22nd, the foot of this mountain, whose snow-capped peaks and fresh mountain air create the perfect spring landscape, will serve as the stage for one of the most exciting fireworks events ever, “The Zekkei Fireworks”. In this case, “Zekkei” refers to the moving scene of Mt.Fuji at sunset being illuminated by the colorful sight of various fireworks. “Zekkei” also refers to the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji’s mountain range being highlighted by fireworks in the beautiful starry night sky. The magnificent fireworks alone, which are the result of the hard work and mastery of the 4 specialists: Beniya Aoki Fireworks, Isogai Fireworks, Kikuya Obata Fireworks, and Saiki Fireworks, whose expertise spans over 100 years, and have been dubbed “True fireworks” by many, can also be described as “Zekkei”. The masterful combination of Spring, cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and fireworks, can only be described as “Zekkei”.
The worlds Top 4 fireworks specialists, with the awe-inspiring view of MT. Fuji as their canvas, will use their skills that are embedded in tradition and have been honed to near perfection to provide
you with the ultimate fireworks show and of unforgettable scenery.
Mt. Fuji has been described by many as being both a symbol of reverence and a source of artistic inspiration, making it worthy of becoming a World Heritage Site in 2013. There may still be some people who don’t know this, but Japanese fireworks are considered by many to be one of the world’s greatest cultural arts. I hope that the sight of our fireworks among the backdrop of the Mt. Fuji will allow to feel the both visual and artistic excellence that Japanese fireworks embodies!

It has been 2 years since the spread of Covid-19, and it has unfortunately resulted in stressful times for both children and adults alike. Although I firmly believe that watching fireworks brings both joy and hope to many, our current situation is unfortunately one that provides us with few opportunities to enjoy them. With that in mind, fireworks along with the ephemeral aura of Mt. Fuji, not only have the power to sweep away the stress of everyday life, but also give people the power to overcome any hardships. While the fireworks industry is currently struggling due to the pandemic, I hope that through this event we can provide hope and joy for all who come to see it.

It brings me great joy to be able bring you fireworks in an event that takes place in both my home prefecture of Yamanashi and the national icon of Japan, Mt. Fuji. As one who makes fireworks, I along with many others view them as a ‘symbol of peace’. Unfortunately, the opportunities for us to enjoy fireworks have decreased significantly as of late. In order to briefly escape from the harsh predicaments bought on by Covid-19, as well as spread joy and peace to those throughout this world, I plan to use the wishes of everyone who comes to create the ultimate fireworks event. You don’t want to miss it!

I am grateful to be able to participate in such a magnificent event at Mt.Fuji. Although I’m still disappointed from my last event in 2020 since fireworks themselves became hard to see due to the bad weather, I plan to use that as inspiration to provide an even better show for our viewers this year. Using the ‘ultimate location’ and the ‘best fireworks’, as well as working with the ‘finest fireworks craftsmen’ during the ‘perfect season’, I know I will be able to provide a truly satisfying experience for everyone involved. I hope you all are looking forward to aspectacular fireworks event worthy of being named “The Zekkei Fireworks”.
